Lots of stress due to challenges at work. Its a very high-stakes game and I've got lots to lose. I've been alone for quite some time now because I work a lot (at least 60h/week). I'm scared and I dunno how to deal with it on my own. I don't feel like dating and my close friends don't see me as someone who would need help - I used to be tough, but now I'm feeling like I need a helping hand. Any ideas how to proceed? I'd be greatful for a word of advice.

Are there any coworkers that could support you emotionally? I have a very challenging job and it helps to have supportive coworkers. Work stress is real. Are there any online communities for people in your field? I also read on online forums for people in my field. It helps to get some ideas from others and see how others deal with challenging. Camaraderie of sorts
Thanks for this!

Not so much, no. I'm in charge. I have to lead them through the storm.

Navigating life can most definitely bring on times where the stress is great and we can feel very alone. People who have achieved recognition have faced challenges that were hard and often they felt very alone as you are describing.

One of the things successful people do is they read about the lives behind successful people because as they do so they learn about things these people faced that really tested them and how they had even failed but committed to keep going and learning.

Part of surviving and growing is learning how to navigate these challenges you are facing and not having a parental type presence there to help.
Thanks for this!
