It seems like no one in my life wants to hear my problems, heck, even my therapist only wants to hear me say I have problems but I overcome them.

Most people don't go to therapy, so who do they tell their problems?

It seems like it is okay for everyone to come to me to vent about their problems, but I make others uncomfortable when I tell them mine. In my performance review, one of the key praises I received from coworkers is that I'm a good listener and that I make others feel heard and validated. A lot of people say that about me. But who does the good listener go to when she wants someone to listen to her problems?

I'm frustrated because I listen to friends/family/coworkers' problems and make them feel better, but I get told by the same people that they don't want to hear what I have to say if it's negative.

Most people’s favorite topic is “all about me”. Very few are patient where they can sit and listen and comfort. That’s why Facebook got so popular and social media.
