It wasn’t that long ago. It was before COVID though.

The reason places do not give more than 20 hours per week is because many employers would need to pay benefits at, say, 30+ hours, and they do not want to do that, so they hire more people and give them fewer hours. However, I agree that no employer would hire people to work 2 hours a week. One reason is it would not be worth their managerial overhead to have so many employees that each works only 2 hours.
Not only do they do that, they lie about everything! The hours, the job, everything! They overwork you too. Some places don’t even pay you any overtime which is illegal. Target is notorious for keeping all employees at least 15 minutes late & not paying them for it. They suck! And the raises are a whole .10 cents too, lol ! Warn people to not work there!

Besides medical records you need to have worked a certain number of hours and years to get enough credits. I forget the number of credits you need but they have to have been from the last ten years. If you have only worked part time and not at all recently you may not be eligible. You can try for SSI however.

Walmart will fire you if you call in sick for more than 10 days I think. And nothing is done about bullying & sexual harassment. It’s all b.s. Especially if no one really likes you there. It’s a joke. I had my money stolen once out of my locker & I was dismissed by the manager.

These nasty female bullies waited for me to go on break then laughed after they saw that I couldn’t find my cash. And some people think that I should go back to that toxic b.s environment again for minimum wage? No way!

What a joke!

You need the equivalent of having worked for 10 years total. They do not have to be the last ten years.
