I agree with what most of the other posters have said about your texts being to long to respond to. It’d be better to just have a discussion about these issues instead. Leave out the graphic details though.

Most people aren’t interested in hearing about those things probably. Idk what to think of your friend Kate. Maybe she just wasn’t interested in hearing what you had to say or she didn’t agree wuth what you were saying? That’s why she ignored you?

Unless she does that often, I wouldn’t take it to personally. If she does, then that’s a problem. Especially if she expects you to listen to her all the time. If that’s the case, then you’ll need to talk to her about how you feel like she doesn’t really listen to you in a calm way in person.

It sounds like you’re a highly sensitive person like I am. Do your friends usually listen to you or not? Some people aren’t good at listening to other people unfortunately.

There’s nothing thst you csn do about that. It’s not about you. It’s about them being selfish & not capable of caring about other peoples feelings.

Some people lack empathy. Don’t count on those type of people for emotional support. It’d be like expecting a tiger in the wild to act the same way a docile housecat would act, lol.

It’s just not who they are. And they’ll never change who thet are. Hopefully that made sense to you.

If you need more supportive friends, then look for new friends who can offer you more support than those two friends can.

Some people don’t want to deal with other peoples issues as they have enough of their own problems to feal with. Sometimes they just want to have fun with their friends & not discuss anything that serious with them.

Once you can sense what type of person someone is, then react to them accordingly. Example, don’t try to get your mostly homebody friends to go to clubs with you. And don’t try to get your party friends to listen to you talk about your problems as that’s probably not going to happen either.
