thats right! i was excited about something in my life when everything came crashing down. i've anyways been having some negative thoughts about life, but from that point on, they are only stronger. all i think now is how to end this suffering i'm going through. and guess what - even that needs courage. something that i dont have

Happiness may only last a couple minutes, but if you can find contentment, that has a lot more permanence. Big difference.

Happiness is based off of situations in our life. When we find peace & contentment like @MuddyBoots says, it is much more permanent.
I was so unhappy & trying to end my life before I left that environment & moved far away. I found peace, & contentment & happiness followed. Even at my sadest moments after that I still felt a peace & contentment surrounding me __________________ Leo's favorite place was in the passenger seat of my truck.
