I’m still processing what just happened
I was worried since a few days to go to my mom’s house, fearing she’ll overstep boundaries again (last time she yelled at me) This time I said I’m coming for therapy (my therapist lives nearer to my mom’s house) And that I still need space (She usually tries to involve me in emotionally taxing hour-long conversations where she’s taking off her anger) This made her feel hurt that I don’t trust her (and it’s true) She said “if it’s that bad for you, don’t come back” And I said okay 🙂 I’ll stay in my dad's house, but I would prefer it if she didn’t come here She said I have a job so I can’t come there anyway I said that’s great! So the plan was settled I’d stay in my dad's house till my therapy gets done. (Maybe a few months?) Then I can start focusing on my career. Till then, maybe I’ll do an online course. |

Good for you— it sounds like being around her creates an unhealthy environment. I don’t know the whole backstory obviously, but it seems like you have done what is best for you. Kudos Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
