Are pads easy to hide or not? What meds work?

Thanks for the info. How well does the mefs work for you? Do they work immediately or not? This is so embarrassing, but I wet my pants a few times & I wondered if people noticed a damp spot, there.. I noticed a couple of women giving me up & down looks, ugh.

I'm not sure there is a "blanket" answer for this as I would say it' depends on your relationship with that person. Is it your boss? Is it a co-worker in a professional setting? Family member? Neighbor? Acquaintance? Some people you HAVE to address issues with just to get by. With some people you may want to have a civilized discussion. Some people simply aren't worth the effort.

I’d say it depends on the situation.
As a rule though if the person is not normally like that and it’s out of character for them it means they are possibly stressed out by a situation and they can’t deal with anymore. It’s usually best to take heed and back off and give them the space they need I find. If they’re like that all the time or frequently though I’d say it’d be more about them than the situation. |

The meds are very effective compared to before I started them. It can be embarrassing for sure. I really recommend the pads to avoid embarrassment. I don't remember how fast the meds work. They are side-effecty and a lot of people give up on them early on but for me it was worth the issues (I only remember sun/heat sensitivity. I'm sure there are others, those are the ones that have caused problems for me in the past). I'm hoping to try tapering down or off them as a med that was contributing to OAB for me was at toxic levels and now that those are down I want to see if things are ok without the med. __________________ Bipolar 1, PTSD, GAD, OCD.
