Hello, currently I'm in a pretty bad situation ):
My best friend always comments on me in a way that brings me down. For example today she told me that I'm "so bad at remembering things" and that I "cant remember anything" and so on. She said it in such a passive aggressive way. I felt so bad about myself and anxious afterwards. It really ruined my day ): Maybe I should add that I have a very low self esteem. I try working on it, but I always seem to fail. She also knows about this. She knows that I tend to feel anxious, and feel bad about myself, but she still talks to me like that. Nearly always when I say something wrong, she does such a big deal about it, and laughs at me. I don't even laugh with her. I just feel awful.
Now maybe she doesn't realise how mich she hurts me? Maybe she just wants to tease me a little bit? I honestly don't know...
Can someone please tell me if I'm being overly dramatic? What should I do about the situation? How can I break free from her, and find other friends, even though I have such a low self esteem ?
