Do you ever feel like you’re socially phobic because people really just suck?
I had a good day because someone did something terrible to me and admitted fault. I am glad they apologized but it is like the damage has already been done. Like they laid their hands on me which is terribly upsetting because I have ptsd already from something similar. Lately my experience of people feels like “oops sorry I didn’t see you as a person first before I traumatized you. My bad.” To. “**** you I am going to twist the truth to my advantage because I am better at lying than admitting fault and genuinely apologizing.” The bar is spectacularly low when it comes to other people. I just am working on a year where I don’t feel ****ed over. So far this year has been better. |
