I belong in a TV SHOW: I feel like a hostage!

My husband has gotten in stupid trouble with the law. I was able to get a home loan against our house with him, so now we could potentially take care of his small misdemeanor charges... instead before this happend though I drove out to his mother cross country and brought the kids. I was really scared. A bench warrant is scary. And I didn't know what to do.
She flew back home with me, and suggested I sell the house and be done with the nonsense. We'll, fast forward like I said we got the loan, I'm behind on the bills now, school has started...
He wants me to relocate my whole address cross country right now to avoid his charges...
It's not fair to me or my mother in law.
I feel like a hostage.
I need to know my rights as a mom at this point. The kids need to be in school. My twins are 8. I just missed their birthday yesterday because of it. He won't listen or reason with me. I screwed myself because I let him get this far and the kids are what's important right now and he's going against that....
If something was to happen to me this I write. I want people to know the truth of it.

I hope you will give top priority to your health and the health of your children. Please do whatever will be best for your safety. Perhaps I am misreading you, but it seems that you are in some possible danger.

It can be costly, but having a consultation with an attorney might be the best way forward. I don't know what your financial resources are but sometimes there are free or low-cost legal clinics that can help. There are online attorney's too but they charge a fee.

So terribly sorry that I don't know how to help you. Please keep yourself and your kids safe. I would not want to see anything bad happen to you or them!!!
