i just found out that my step dad is suppose to die within the month due to heart and other issues. i have the chance to go visit him before he dies so im taking it.
also, i'm going to see my mom and lil bro which i haven't seen for six yrs so its going to be a lil reunion. last time i saw them all was when i was ten so its going to be a lil weird.
i was just wondering if anyone had any advice on this. i'm going to see my dying stepdad, and he's a really nice person, and my mom and lil bro that i haven't seen in a really long time. i just need advice on how to cope with this.
my brother is coming hom from the army tis weekend and im taking my car. i'm only 16 but i already know how to travel about. its about an 8-9 hr drive and i just wanna be calm on the way. plus it'll give me a chance to talk to my bro from the army on the trip. think i just need to relax.
best of luck to all.

That's unfortunate about your stepdad being unwell.
Spend some time with him - maybe tell him that you think of him as a nice person - I'm sure that he would like to hear that.
Have a good trip.

I'm sorry to hear about your stepdad. I hope the visit goes well. Drive safely visiting my dad before he dies...
