You're
Always on My Mind
I find that you're
on my mind
more often than
any other thought...

Sometimes I bring you there
purposely...to console me
or to warm me
or just to make my day
a little brighter.

So often
you surprise me, though,
and find your own way
into my thoughts.
There are times
when I awaken and realize
what a tender part of my dreams
you have been.

And on into the day,
whenever a peaceful moment
seems to come my way
and my imagination is free to run,
it takes me running
into your arms
and allows me
to linger there...
knowing there's nothing
I'd rather do.
I know that my thoughts are only
reflecting the loving hopes
of my heart...
because whenever they wander,
they always
take me
to you.

The card is signed with a note:

"You always Bring Out The Very Best In Me. Thank You."

Oh my! This is a card that I received from my pot-smoking friend yesterday. We get along so well, and sometimes say the same things at the same time, we think alike. We share those periods of awkward silence when neither of us knows what to say. He doesn't smoke pot around me, and to be honest, I don't know how much he does use it. The other day another guy was getting a little too close for my comfort so he jumped up from the table and positioned himself half between me and this other guy, and oh, the look on his face! We are all friends, but this other guy has a bad habit of getting too close and personal. I have to say, this card made me melt a little.

This is a beautiful card. The words brought tears to my eyes.

Thanks for sharing this INKY. Not sure what to say about these two guys. The first one you speak about seems to really like you my dear. Are u thinking of getting to know him better???? As to someone getting to close and making u feel uncomfortable; well tell him!!! Thats not a good feeling is it? But I am curious to know about this other one u speak of (hmmmm). lol.

Very nice words here, thanks dear.

Justy

The guy who gave me this card is really sweet. He's tall, about a year older than I, and kinda cute! Always on his mind He and I do kind of like each other. There is some interest between us. And he is taking things slow! Always on his mind Always on his mind With my PTSD history, part of me has to wonder what his true intentions are, but most of me says that this is real. I almost feel like a little girl inside because of the way he is and this card.
