When someone needs help or support sometime I don't say nothing because I am scare to say the wrong thing and make it worst for the person.
Other time, I will say something and then I can't stop thinking of what I have said because maybe I made it worst for the person. Do you feel this way too? |

Hi Lenny,
Thank you so much for your reply. Yes it's true that all we can do is to offer our support in the best of our knowledge and experience and in the best interest of the other person. ............................................................................................................................. Sometime when a child accidently cuts himself we know we must clean the cut in order to make it heal properly but we also know by doing this we bring pain to the child as we must touch the cut in order to clean it. Hugging the child after will help him to feel love and safe and understand that we were trying to help him. But if we are too scare to give more pain to the child and we just put a bandage on the cut it might get infected creating later on even more pain for the child. We can hug the child so he can feel we love him. Showing we care and love him is in both situation very important. ............................................................................................................................. Did you noticed Lenny that sometime I think and talk too much. lol With my sincere respect Justgiving |
