My boyfriend almost broke up with me lst night over a mistake I did a few months ago. I ended up making out with my ex 2 months ago (did not have sex) to find out if my feelings for him were officially gone. I wanted my own time to tell him and my ex ended up telling him last night for me. I swore my 2 friends that were with me to secrecy and they ended up confirming it to my boyfriend. We talked and I was honest with him and told him it did happen. I said I was sorry and that I would never do it again. I know the trust is broken now, and it will take forever to build, but what should I do now? Please help.

Honestly, there is nothing you can do other than tell him that you are sorry and it was a stupid mistake.
My wife, fiance at the time of this event, did the exact same to me when i was deployed and I did not find out until a couple months ago. Me being deployed and her not cheating on me was the base of our marriage. You are right on the fact that the trust is gone. It is up to him now if he wants to try to trust you again.

Best of luck
