i read this interesting article about this guy named Scott who wears a nametag every day (for over 900 days.) he believes people may be more willing to communicate if you wear a nametag. what do you think? check out his stories at www.hellomynameisscott.com

i just started wearing a name tag at work. they call it a security badge. yeah, i feel real secure. most people wear them with the back showing. ah, well.

i forgot that i wear a nametag all the time at work, too. but could you wear a sticky, "Hello, my name is" tag all the time???

No, I hate nametages. When I go to meetings, I hate having them on. Yes, I do find more people talk to you, and seek you out. But, what if you don't want to be sought out?? What if you are going to a meeting to learn something, and then get back to work, or in a hurry to pick up your child from Preschool, and someone stops you to ask a bunch of questions they think you can answer becuase they read your nametag? I won't wear them. LOL LOL

No, I don't think I could wear a name tag all the time, and if I was forced to wear one, I'd use a different name. I prefer anonimity.
