i don't really consider myself to have had a good relationship with my parents but is it possible that at 22 i'm suffering from separation anxiety. I seem to get really close to someone and have trouble leaving them like saying goodbye to them on the phone and im forever calling them and sometimes feel as they may be getting frustrated with how much i need them even if it's just to hear them talk.

Sorry but I'm a bit confused ![]() Are you talking about talking with your parents or other people in your life? I'm assuming you are talking about others... perhaps because you didn't have a good relationship with your parents that you are appreciative of closeness with others? Sometimes we do have trouble understanding the boundaries that others set--their personal space so to speak. It's something we learn as we go. Jmo, but age doesn't matter when it comes to separation anxiety...there are times I've felt it for various reasons. It's one of those things that means I need to do some soul-searching. Peace, Cap
