I had to detach from family- started recently
My brother is still asking me to pay for something related to estate
of parents- I have to go to the accountant as problem does not
tell me much - end up paying for acct to get info and help- parents
know brothers would not be there
I have to get use to not sending cards and gifts and calling to say hello
Everyone is insulting to me- aunts telling me to wear more make up
etc- another one has hubby with her and he comes on - drinks first thing -
in am- I thought these people would be a support system but
they are not- send mean emails etc-so know I have to face
that family does not care and I am shocked by it
I think I am on my way- I admitted it and faced detachment is the
answer- i
I have to let it out- thank you

It sounds like you are in a tough spot. It can be so sad when you feel let down by family - people who are supposed to be linked to you by caring and mutual support. I hope maybe you can find someone to counsel you on these financial and personal subjects. Maybe they can help you find a strong, confident approach to this challenge.
