The medicine is effective at alleviating agitation and aggression. It stops my thoughts from racing. The fact that it is instant release makes it akin to the Xanax of antipsychotics: the dosage can be adjusted to your liking. This is also a downside as a missed dose means the medication has left your system (half-life of 24 hours).
The weight gain and bloating are an issue, but not as much as they are on other antipsychotics. I'm not certain if I am gaining weight because of the medication, or if it is water weight from constipation.

I usually get prescribed pills through americantrustpills (seriously, this place sucks) free of danger. Sadly I use to take tons of it so low price is crucial for me.

I have only been on this for a week, for bipolar. I've been in a long stretch of angry, agitated mania. I'm calming down, slept through the night last night. I am afraid of weight gain [was previously on zyprexa and gained 70 lbs just filling the prescription!] but so far I am not having that crazed eating thing. I feel fairly normal.

My ex psych dr. had me on this with lamictal, unfortunately, she had to quit to take care of her aging parents. My new psych dr. at 1st visit, took me off both of these and put me on topamax only, which i was afraid of. well needless to say, my mania has returned with a vengeance but no depression because that is what the topamax is for. I do not like my new dr, he will not give u more than 5 min or let u explain how u r doing.

overall my experience is good, but I hate being on an antipsychotic in. I miss my chaos sometimes. I feel constrained and flat.
At the same time, I am less depressed, agitated and anxious, and it helps me sleep.
