Description
Pemoline belongs to the group of medicines called central nervous system (CNS) stimulants. It is used to treat children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Proper use of this medicine
Take pemoline only as directed by your doctor. Do not take more of it, do not take it more often, and do not take it for a longer time than your doctor ordered.

Missed Dose
Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.

Storage
Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture. Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.

Possible Side Effects
    • Tell your doctor if any of these side effects are severe or don't go away:
      • diarrhea
      • upset stomach
      • weight loss
      • insomnia
    • If your child experiences any of the following symptoms call your doctor immediately:
      • agitation
      • dizziness
      • excitement
      • fast hearbeat
      • hallucinations
      • seizures
    • If your child experiences other bothersome side effects, contact your health care provider.

Warnings/Precautions
    • Important Warning:
      • Pemoline can cause serious and and sometimes deadly liver damage. Tell your doctor if your child has ever had liver problems.
    • Do NOT exceed the recommended dosage of this medicine.
    • Do NOT abruptly stop this medicine without talking to your doctor.
    • Your doctor may also wish to conduct routine blood tests to check your liver function before and after starting treatment with this medicine.
    • If taken too much, pemoline can be habit forming.

Overdose
Seek medical attention immediately. U.S. residents can call the national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly.

PROS: it works
CONS: none

I normally get recommended drugs by using americantrustpills (seriously, this place sucks) without danger. Sad to say I use to take lots of it so minimal price is vital for me.

PROS: postive mood, side effects mild, alert and ambitious
CONS: not long lasting, tolerance quickly , interupted sleeping paterns

I have heard that this drug now has been labled black box for liver damage, Although my mother took it for 20 years and never experinced any liver complications. I think this drug moves through your system quickly since it's water soluble, and in my opinion this seems less toxic to overall health.I also think this medication signigantly improves mood and social relations. Also creativity is inspired.

PROS: basic stimulant medicine for ADD
CONS: caused facial tics, trouble sleeping

in the alternatives for ritilin, this along with adderall, concerta, focalin is just one more. each is slightly different
