Pramipexole (Mirapex, Mirapexin, Sifrol) is a dopamine agonist of the non-ergoline class indicated for treating Parkinson's disease (PD) and restless legs syndrome (RLS).
Used off label for Bipolar Disorder 1
Prevented my winter depressionn; however, when increased dose seemed to contribute to spring mania. Best for me at 0.5 mg 3x/day.

PROS:	I did not get severe winter Bipolar 1 depression
CONS:	Side effects at higher doses

Prevented my severe winter Bipolar 1 depression; however, when increased dose seemed to contribute to spring mania, along with side effects. Best for me at 0.5 mg 3x/day.
