Is there a name for it, when you start to realisr you are dressing like your T?

So for a example you realise you and your T wearing smiliar shape shoes.
Or you brought shoes that remind you of your T so it feels like they always with you.

Is there a name for this? Or can someone tell me whats going on? Its creepying me out.

This is only a thought that popped into my head as I read your post but, isn't that what little children like to do, wanting to wear mums clothes, shoes, jewellery etc? Could it be your inner child wanting to emulate mummy?

That is a good point, thank you.
I use to emulate my mum when I was young.
Well she try to put thr clothes that she thought she like on me. So she try to put her identity on me in other words.

So I could be emulate my therapist who is a man but Im a woman.
I don't know it all started when I begin therapy with him, and I noticed we wore the same pattern shirt. But I brought that pattern shirt before I even knew him.
What I did notice is that, pattern shirt he wore and I wore is the same pattern shirt my grandad wore.
I only started buying that pattern shirt when my grandad passed away.

I do the same thing with my male therapist. I wear shoes and jackets similar to his. I'm aware of this, and I think I do it because I figure he'll like me if he likes what I wear.

No, I haven't told him about that. I haven't even considered telling him, though I just told him about my transference, and I guess this is part of that.

I wonder how common this is among people with therapists of the opposite gender.

One day last year I came home from work to find my T had broken in to my house again, and gone through my wardrobe. He'd thrown most of my clothes on the floor but left anything designer, cream grey or green hanging up. Apart from being a gross invasion of privacy and really really scary- in a way it was helpful. I've always had problems knowing what suits me and what looks awful, and after he did this if I wore any of the outfits he'd left hanging I would get a lot of compliments on how I looked. So I can't wear those clothes any more because I've gone up two dress sizes, but I'm still buying the same kind of styles and colours he picked out. I'm looking forwards to the day I have enough money to go to Selfridge's or some other department store that has a personal dresser, and hire them to help me pick out outfits that suit me and I can get rid of anything that reminds me of that asshat.

Oh my gosh Im so sorry you had to experience that.
Did you reported it to the police?
I guess if you do go to therapy, you could bring that up to your therapist to help you over come that. That sounds so scary.
