Hi everyone, I was hoping to have you send good thoughts and prayers for my Dad, he was diagnose with colon cancer 3 weeks ago and will be operated on September 8th. He is in good spirits and has been putting some weight on for the surgery, I saw him tonite and he looked great, i feel so bad he has to go thru another surgery, he has been in and out of the hospital 3 times in 2 years, he is 78 years old and just wants to be better. I come from a family of 6 (i am the youngest) and pretty much take control of getting everyone together and talk to the doctors. When he was diagnosed, i was on vacation and came back to be with him. I had a bit of a breakdown due to stress at work( i finally got away and had to come back) and his sickness. I am in a much better place now and just keep praying all will be ok, any good thoughts y you can send out to the universe would be wonderful! Thank you!!!

 Will be praying for your dad and you. Don't get too stressed out. I understand about the work and having a family member sick really stressing you out.

I'm glad he's able to become "healthier" for the surgery.  I wish my dad could have lived longer, and not had the cancer he had, they have so much better medicine and methods (and knowledge) now than they did. I hope your dad sticks around long enough for them to find a cure for him!
