I'm having surgery this morning @ 7:30 am to remove 3 cysts from my left ovary. Its just a laparoscopy procedure, so fairly simple. But still, its kinda scarey going under and the needles and all that crap lol. So if you don't mind, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I'd appreciate it.

Thanks ahead of time, as I probably won't be on the computer much for a couple of days.

Hugs,
Beth

Will keep you in my prayers. I have had it done and I understand the fear, and still experience it when they talk about having to go back.

Hey all,
I just got home around 1ish today. They couldnt get all the adhesions laproscopically so they had to open me up. I have about a 12 inch incision, plus the small ones from them trying to do it lap way. So I am very sore, but able to walk and get to where i need to go. The first day and a half were not easy, I have a sensitivity to the morphine, so I couldnt keep food down. They took my IV out then yesterday afternoon, and then food stayed down ok. I had wonderful nurses and a really good doctor. So very blessed that way. Just need the rest and recouperation time . No school for 2 weeks at least.. because I cant drive or lift my bookbag. The girl that offered to help me with all that is having gall bladder surgery on Thursday, so I cant count on her for help either. Nor do I expect her to help. Thats about all I got right now.

Thanks so much for all the thoughts and prayers thru this thread, and pm's and visitor messages. You guys are my family. I couldn't ask for more. Love you all!!

Thank you (((((((((( Hunny & Amanda)))))))))))) I am waiting on a call back from my dr office. I am having some bloody drainage right now. Its not real bad, but concerns me with all the cellulits I've had in the past. I don't want an infection getting out of hand here. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Bethy! Hon, I got your message but I couldn't understand what you were saying. "Hospital" and "scrape" was about all I could make out. I'm so sorry! I heard those words and have been praying for you ever since.

Let us know how that discharge goes, ok? No, you don't need any more cellulitus! OUCH!!

Thanks Bebop and Tomi . I had found out that the drainage is normal. I was more scared of the color it was than anything I think. So I should be good there. Today I woke up with a sore throat. I know that it was somewhat sore from the tube they put down it during surgery. It was slowly feeling better. But then throughout the day, it was feeling more raw and getting more red. I called the call a nurse at the hospital I was at this weekend.. she said to gargle salt water, and then get an appt with my doc in the morning. Wellllllllllll... I will... but I looked in the cupboard and found some antibiotics that didn't work for the celluitis when I had it in September.. and so I took one of them tonight. I'm sorry, but I am just not going to wait for this to get worse! I already couldnt swallow it hurt so bad. I was not going to get dehydrated and end up in them god awful hospital beds again! lol. So yeah, I AM playing Dr Beth lol. So be it! lol. Its already feeling better, so I think I did the right thing for now lol.

Tomi no worries, I know my phone can be that way... I will never ever get a blackberry again! Its been awful! Thanks for the thoughts and prayers!

Hugs
Bethy

Hope you begin feeling better soon. Don't worry about how you feel, goodness, your body's been through quit a bit. Try to go with it all... taking care of yourself and not worrying about the rest, it will work out.
