About a week ago or so, I posted here asking for prayers and support for peace in my family with my aunt who has cancer and my mom to be able to see each other again. (my uncle, who had acted inappropriately towards me in the past is very controlling of my aunt and wouldn't let her see any of her sisters). It was tearing my mom apart and she thought she would never see her sister (my aunt) again.

About a week after I posted and received much support and prayers from everyone here, my aunt called my mom, telling her that she is not going to let my uncle control her anymore! She is coming over to my mom's house for several days and we are going to try to find a shelter for her while she's here (although she's welcome to stay here as long as she wants). I just cannot stop crying because I am so so very happy to be able to see my aunt again (who's in bad shape with cancer right now), and especially for my mom, her sister, to be reunited with her. What a wonderful Christmas present this is!!

Thank you to everyone for all your prayers, good vibes/thoughts and hugs. They really did work!! I can't thank you guys enough...
Thanks for this!

wow, thanks for sharing. what a wonderful outcome. i hope you are able to find a place for your aunt to stay. that is huge.

i prayed a fair amount about thanksgiving because i had two relatives i was worried might get all controlling and critical with me and they were surprisingly nice and easygoing. prayer definitely does work!
Thanks for this!
