I was talking with a friend of mine this morning at church. We were trying to see who remembered the most quotes. One of the quotes was. “How was God and A master Tailor the same?” Because only God and a master tailor has enough sense to measure each person anew each day. Both understand that no one stays the same no matter how had they try to stay the same. The others choose to believe in an illusion of the emperor new cloths no matter what no one can fit into them or see them for what they are………………………………............................
…… So how does this effect me? For one thing I had to live with others seeing me in a set of emperors cloths. Do you remember the fable of the emperors new cloths only those that believe in the cloth would be able to see such finery. So here I am after living all these years of wearing the emperors new cloths I am finely able to cast them aside. Because I know who I am and not ashamed of it. I refuse to carry the burden of the choices other people made. I have to live with my own choices of how I handle the way they treated me. I am not proud of all the choices I made but I also accept that I did the best I could with what I had available to work with. It was my faith that saved me when In truth I should not be here. It was those that had an inner understand of God knows what but was not willing to lower their standards that kept me sane. I was able to confront my fears and still have some type of safety from some where. These people had the basic understanding that we all change that we all evolve with each new choice that we make. I am grateful for those that chose to believe in taken measurements anew each day for with out them I would have been lost.
