Many many prayers for those suffering in Haiti...I hope the world joins together to send all of the help they need. I saw a picture of a father holding his deceased daughter and it just broke my heart.

Anderson ~

Thank you sooo much for putting up this for the people of Haiti!! I was going to place one, but I saw yours.

Yes, I have been following the news as well. It's truly devastating what these people are experiencing and having to face.

I have heard some very sad stories coming from there, but I have also heard some very brave and uplifting ones of people coming together and helping each other...and some stories of faith and survival as well.

Many prayers, good wishes, and requests for blessing for these fine people in their time of need.

Sometimes I wish I could hop on a plane and go there and help...like with Red Cross or something. That would be something I would love to do for them. I am quite empathic however and have not yet learned how to keep myself from getting lost in the energies of such tragedies. Feels so selfish of me, but one day I hope to become stronger in this and hopefully I will be able to offer more support.

Thanks again for the post.

And for all those in Haiti or who have family/friends there....

The people of Haiti suffer immeasurably on many levels. I'm sorry this has happened to them.

Wow....

This just takes this disaster to a whole new level...and reminds me how we really are all connected, no matter our geographic location.

http://www.katu.com/news/local/81380842.html

The US Military has sent teams with C-130's to Haiti to assess their need for aid. One team has arrived already and the next team is not too far behind.

Please keep all the people and families in your thoughts/prayers!!

Presidents Clinton and Bush
foundation for Haiti.

If you TEXT a certain number on your cell phone, you can give to the American Red Cross, $10 automatically.

I knew in the back of my head that my Psychiatrist was Haittian, but when I saw him on TV tonight talking about family and friends being lost down there... it really hit me. I am seeing him tomorrow, and going to give him money for the fund he started with a local Catholic church . He and his wife just had worry written all over their faces. So sad to see this.. so sad for the losses and for all the people down there having to live under these conditions. Wish there was more I could do. But I will continue my prayers for them.

We now send prayes to our friends and family that are now serving in Haiti until they are able to come home again. May familiies be reunited in safe keeping. For those that have lost family and friends may they find peace and acceptance in the living. we pray that all be surrounded by angels and that God is carrying those that can not go on alone.

Thank God for the USA!

Each American has already donated, but I agree, now is the time to give through your charity. We are our brother's keepers.
