As some may recall, I spent 40 days and nights on Spirit Mountain being Homeless. I turned that experience into a Vision Quest and got in touch with my own Heart. Ones Heart is very important in life.

I came down off that Mountain with No money as the coming winter weather was going to force me into some kind of Shelter for the Homeless. I as said I did come down fron that Mountain with lots of Power, and it was the Power of the Heart. Those wonderfull feelings we all have within.

I found myself spening one night at a Shelter in Kingman AZ. There was a man sleeping on a Materess on the floor with an Oxygen tank and other respatory equipment. I did not know him but I did aknowlege him with a nod of my head.

The next day I offered him a ride to the Kingman library and other places around town. As I got to know him he offered to put gas in my tank and bought me lunch.

As the day wore on he even had my spare tire fixed. Then he called his family and got some money sent to him so we could escape the Shelter and rent a room for two weeks.

We are shareing a room in Bullhead City. He got more money form his Family for food and gas.

As time went on, he told me he will be getting much money for black lung disease, because he was a coal miner some years ago, plus he other related benefits.

Now, he wants to share some of that Money with me. Why? It is Because I showed him Heart, I eased his loneness by being a Companion, I am even being paid to be his care giver.

Thus, Spirit Mountain Taught me the Importance of Ones Heart. Those Warm feelings that are very real in the Human Spirit. And they are Important to each of us.

Sincerely;

Mountain Lion.
Thanks for this!

Thanks for sharing this story MountainLion: It is so true what you say about the heart. How fortunate you were to have that experience on Spirit Mountain. I think one reason we're experiencing such a spike in mental disorders like depression and anxiety is because we are too much in our heads. We've lost touch with that which will sustain us beyond our thoughts. And the trouble we're having IS coming from our thoughts. Everybody's heard the saying "man can not live on bread alone." Well neither can we live on our minds alone. We have to infuse heart stuff into our lives or we go bunkers. Ask Eckhart Tolle. That's what his books are about. We are way out of balance intellectually with so much focus in the western world on knowledge, the mind, science and such. Consequently we are running ourselves mad. We have to come back into balance with our hearts. What we learn with our minds we already know much more clearly with our hearts.
Thanks for this!
