Please pray for my father in law who passed away today at 1700 hrs. May he rest in peace .
Prayers requested for his wife, children and grand children in the hour of their grief.  Gone but will never be forgotten

Praying for you, Silent and your family members. It is hard to explain death to children but I thing talking about nature and seasons can be helpful, depending on their age. We too have had much loss lately and I think the main thing is to let teachers know and try to talk in the midst of other things that are happening on a daily basis. It is afterall a life occurance. But we did notice with the children here 4 and 3 that they are wondering why Mommy is a little distant emotionally. So lots of hugs and maybe a few extra specialties (not big but somethings they like).

No, you're not horrible. Sometimes life throws us these curve balls and while you can sympathise with your husband, coming back is not a good option. In the end it won't make anyone happier. Huggs dear.

I'm so sorry that your son's bird has died.... that is sad - I hope your son is coping ok with that loss. pet's are part of our family and it's so tough on children when they pass over. Sending hugs to you and your family.

My condolences to you and your children. It is never easy to know what to do in these situations when children don't see "the big picture"...they only know the pain. My prayers are with you and your family today and always. May God comfort and continue to comfort and provide guidance in dealing with the challenges ahead.
