long story here. basically my husband passed his truck driving and got his truck yesterday. we then found out I would not be allowed to go with him since I use to work for the company and I sued them 5 yrs ago. so he has to go alone and he doesn't do so well mentally out like that.

My stepmom had a colonoscopy done a couple of weeks ago and they found 2 large polyps. They were able to get one but not the other. She goes in for surgery on the 16th to have the other one removed. The dr told her she will lose about 3 inches of her colon and possibly have a colostomy bag. He is treating it now as cancer.

With everything going on I am having a really difficult time with all that has happened around here since July last year when my husband lost his job. please keep my family in your prayers.

how's things going at the minute. any news or updates? how are you doing?

mom's surgery is tomorrow. around noonish. I don't know how long this surgery is going to take.

my dad news is he had to get another 2 units of blood last week. he has lost another 10 lbs or so in the last week. his testing starts on the 26th.

my stepmom came thru her surgery ok. we won't know the results until the pathology comes back hopefully on friday.
my dad has lost over 10 lbs in the last week. I am very worried about him as his transfusions aren't really helping his blood counts. he has a test next week so maybe we will know more then on him.
his sister is in another hospital and they are wanting to put her in a nursing home for a little while. she has no children or anyone that can take care of her and I live a little far away from her. makes it hard to say the least. I need a tropical vacation!

It's so much. Sorry for not seeing this sooner.

It's been kinda over-the-top around our life since end of November. Just now starting to see the forest.

These three elders, your Dad, Stepmom and Aunt all a once! It just seems so unfair...

...and husband's work...

So, spiritually, we do ask for more than average peace and for your face to turn to the place of strength and to trust and talke hold of the faith to see all three to find the healing. These seem like promises from God that are too great to ask for but we think we are supposed to ask anyway and especially.

As for driving without you, we pray safety, protection, courage and calmness for your husband as he travels physically alone but knowing you are with him in spirit.

thanks guys....my dad has lost 25lbs since the middle of January. I have to take him friday morning for endoscopy then his kidney dr monday morning. they are really concerned at this point for this severe weightloss as I am too. he is growing weaker all the time. his sister has no children of her own so I am taking that over with an aunt of mine. I feel like my cup runneth over right now. not the good kind either.

first I want to say I am sorry for not updating sooner. I am learning to deal with it all right now. So I thought it was time I updated on my Dad. He was sent to a hemotologist which turned out to be an oncologist. He has cancer. My worst fear came true. It is in his bone marrow. They are giving him about 6 months if no treatment and he is refusing it. I support him in this decision wholeheartedly. I do not want to see him suffer any more than he has to. Please keep him and our family in your prayers.
