when everything around you sucks? I'm am trying to stay spiritual praying and telling myself God has plans for me and my time is coming, but I am having such a hard time hanging on. My depression isn't getting any better, the people at work,,,,i tell ya, i'm gonna pop someone in the nose pretty soon....how do I just let go and let God take over. I did over hear today that the guy I had an argument with yesterday call his dentist and tell him he broke a tooth. Devine intervention? Anyone having any words of wisdom? Thanks!

(((hugs)))
No words of wisdom here... just letting you know that I've been where you are.

Popping people in the nose here at my job wouldn't do a darn thing except make them NOT work more than they already dont!! (if that makes sense!)

I just put my earphones in, turn up my favorite radio station on Slacker Radio, or the "heavy rock" playlist on my mp3 player, and just let it go. My friends here at work get a kick out of me bobbin around in my chair dancing to "Bad Romance" or "Breakin the Law", and it helps to lighten the mood around here, so I'm glad I can help others out too.

I hope you find the calmness you need!!! (Said from the spastic girl! LOL)

How can I bite the hand that feeds the strangers all around me;
How can I know so many; never really knowing anyone;
If I seem superhuman I have been Misunderstood."

I think missingmyoldself stumbled onto something there...maybe God is saying something to your heart that you don't understand...like maybe instead of vilolence you could try a little kindness and you might overlook the blindness of your co-workers...that's part of a song I think...lol...how about humour...there's gotta be something silly about a bunch of grownups fussing about nothing...not sure what you do...but you gotta do it well...hey another song...lololololol...sorry...or like missingmyoldself says...turn on tune in and turn up...I also think you need to have patience...like John Lennon sung...life is what happens to you well you're busy making other plans...and now I will get me hence to a new frontier...lol...meds have kicked in so maybe you should just tune me out...take care hugs46...

Dear hugs,

When things around you are in chaos be still, completely still and you control you with your breathing and don't allow what's going on around you to touch you or affect you in any way, peace finds you.

And when you remember that it is not what happens to you in life that matters, it is how you react to it and what you do about it that matters,

Rhiannon

Peace can be found within you. You can't find peace in the world, this world is ruled by evil and he is always causing the ocean to be stormy. First off, we need to change the way we look at things because these are the things that we bring into ourselves. Our pride loves everything that is opposite of humility. Whether they are highs or lows, they disrupt our well being. We need to practice equanimity and find that inner peace within ourselves that God so desperately wants us to have. This is a peace where nothing can bother you, it's total freedom (true freedom) from the world. We need to love one another and do the things that make us humble. We need to recognize teats and trials that constantly come upon us. This is where we gain our strength and build upon that peace that we all long for. God Bless You
