I adore my therapist, mostly. However we do not see eye to eye spiritually. That is one thing that I can not share with him as he doesn't respect my religious choices. (I get the "My religion is holier than yours" speech to varying degrees from him.) At this point, this is the only therapy services place in my area. And as long as we stay off of topics of religion or spirituality ( which is difficult for me), we do just fine. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this one or have been through a similar experience? Thanks everybody.
Kelli.

Kelli, I had a therapist who sometimes tried to impose her beliefs on me and judge me from her religious views. That did not bode well with me. I ended therapy with her because of the lack of trust I felt with her accepting me.
