Friends,
I have been reunited with our adopted daughter after eight years of estrangement. Low and behold, I am a grand mother of a perky two year old little girl! We also had a leak in our roof four about three months this year that we just didn't have the money to repair. A roofer came and put a tarp to cover most of the area which was without shingles, but there was still a vulnerable spot. Anyway we purchased a larger tarp, and were going to have the roofer come back to tack it down for winter. He called at the last minute and said he had found some shingles in his barn, which were a close match to ours. He said we could have them for free, and he sent one of his workers over to nail them in place. So for $75.00 (labor) we are covered until Spring. We also experienced God's love by our neighbor, who owns 1,000 acres, called last week to remind my husband about getting a heater in our pump house, because it was supposed to drop down below freezing over last weekend. Best wishes to all of you for some Christmas miracles in your lives -- small or large they are all wonderful, and remind us how much God loves each and every one of us ~ EJ

I am so very glad you get to know what it feels like to be a grandmother! I can't put into words how wonderful a feeling it is to be a grandparent. It just takes my breath away and my heart grows larger each time I see them and hug them.
How wonderful that your roofer found those shingles and sent a worker over to nail them down for you. That is just so awesome. I will never forget these simple words: "We always get what we need" God is good....Merry Christmas! xoxoxo sabby |
