For those of you that don't know, I had to put my cat Tyger to sleep today. I thought I was handling it better than I am.

My stomach is all in knots and I am running a fever. Every time I try to eat something I vomit. I need to eat something though or I will continue to lose weight and my therapist today stressed to me that I am NOT to lose any more weight.

I am going to go now and try to eat again but have a feeling it isn't going to stay down.

So please pray my nerves will calm down so I can start to feel better.

Jan

(((Jan))) - you're in my prayers and I understand this is so hard to lose a pet. They're members of our families. Is the nausea from the nerves? Try to eat something light like soup or a scrambled egg with toast. Fresh ginger root tea also helps with upset stomach. I'm sorry you lost Tyger.

Yes the nausea is from nerves. When I get feeling like I am now I get nauseous.

I was able to sleep some and think I can go back to sleep so that should help some.

My Aunt and Uncle are taking their Grandson and a Friend to see Mr. Popper's Penguins today and asked if I wanted to go along since I was the one to tell them about it. I told my Aunt that H would probably like it since when I was his age I loved the book. So if I feel up to it I will do that.

Thanks for the prayers.

Time to start thinking about a new kitty. Old one is out of misery and in cat heaven with all the rest... I know it's hard. Try to eat soft foods, easy to digest. Give yourself some time.

Hope you see the movie... I'm hoping to soon too.

I opted out from seeing the movie. I am not keeping things down. I am still running a slight fever and just feeling crummy.

I plan on calling my GP after lunch to see what he says.

Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts sent my way. This weekend I have been able to keep food down and haven't been running a fever.

I actually have been hungry which is a rare thing for me. So tonight I actually cooked and ate some and shared with the neighbors.

So I think I'm on them mend.

I am not going to get another cat until I come home from my last surgery. I want a kitten so I can train to not go outside.

I had a rough night last night.

It was thunder storming and I got up to go to the bathroom and thought well while I am in here I'll grab Tyger and bring him in with me on the couch. Then it hit me no Tyger. I had a good long cry over that one.
