My father is at the MD right now getting a procedure done to check out a suspicious tumor. I am so worried. My father is the person I feel closest to in all the world. Right now, I am struggling with my own faith. I am not sure if there is a god listening when I pray. But if people could pray or meditate for my family I would appreciate it.

Thanks for the reply advena. Do you mind me asking where the tumor is located? Its hard waiting for the lab results.

Surgery is not scheduled until the end of the month. I will update as our family knows more. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Dear Advena,
As one who walked that frightening walk last year, I must tell you that faith, prayers, and wonderful friends up-lifted me, as they can you. With the prayers and love of so many friends, I felt enclosed in a bubble of safety as we drove to the hospital. So, here I am today, a survivor! Please know that you and your father will be in my prayers. Do not be afraid to ask for help and encouragement. Most of us are very eager to help those in need. Just an update - My father had surgery today and it went well. It will take a week for the results of the biopsy but the surgeon was hopeful. Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers.

So happy to hear the surgery went well advena!
I've been thinking about you because I too am so close to my dad and he is so dear and special to me. Please keep us posted on his progress.

I just wanted to let everyone know that my father's tumor is noninvasive and no treatment is required. He is going to be fine. I feel so blessed and grateful.
