I don't get it ! You are accepting prayer requests ? Why ? What for ? God knows of individuals' heartaches, who do you think you are ? Are your prayers better than our own ? Do you have a direct line to the Lord ? If you want to pray, then pray for everyone here and their intentions. You don't need specific details, why do you ? Or are you getting off on individuals' needs and problems ? You feel powerful when people bring you their specific prayer requests ? WTF Is that all about ? If you genuinely wanted to pray for people here, you'd just pray !

I am not a person who usually asks for things, but please could you pray for Crackle my Gerbil, (look at 'please spare a thought ' in the 'kudos' section of this site) he is still fighting with a very crackly chest after 8 days of antibiotics. He is going to the vets again tomorrow, but i was warned last time that it could be caused by an underlying health problem that can't be cured. please pray he has the strength to keep fighting as Snap and Pop his brothers and myself love him so much.

ladyzero, if you can't say anything good then it is best not to say anything at all!

if god knows of individuals heartaches then those individuals all have a direct line to him do they not? that doesn't mean others can't remind him or ask him on someone elses behalf also!

there are many gods if you take into account all religions, so the same prayer from many people will most likely reach more gods than just one, increasing the chance of it being answered.

[You feel powerful when people bring you their specific prayer requests ? ] does it really matter whether this person gets a Kick out of what they are doing or not, it is not hurting anyone and is actually helping some people feel better!

sometimes a lone prayer can go unheard, it is very nice to know some people will help you out when you feel your prayer will be heard better in numbers. lots of voices are better than one lone one. I for one am very happy to request a prayer, i do not pray myself, i do hope, but not pray as i am going through a long spell of not knowing what to believe in, but i am very happy for others to pray just in case that is the right thing to do. After all i would give anything to help Crackle, or any of my pets for that matter and if that includes putting trust in others prayers then so be it.
