Hey who ever reads this Hope you are having a great day!

(I read the rules and it confused me, so i will try and write this without breaking them)

Anyways, I am hopefully doing a Discipleship Training School through YWAM (Youth with a mission) Which is basically a school to learn about God and mission work.
The School i am looking at is in Mexico, i currently live in Australia. I am super excited to do this as i feel called into missions and helping others.

I was just wondering if i could get some prayer for getting my parents support, and also for the money to do this school!

So yeah, you have a lovely day/night/morning/ week/year ETC.

Dear Zinny,
Bless you for wanting to do mission work!
The only thing you might want to think about before choosing a location is to be
safe. Today where you are considering might not be one of the safest locations. Kidnapping is a problem for forieners'. How do do your work and be safe, contact your countrys Foreign Ambassador to that reigion and tell them you are considering doing work at X country and they will tell you if it is safe. You have my prayers. Taking this extra step may help in getting parents support.
H.

I always thought I'd like to be a missionary, too. I am a minister's wife. We are ministers here in the U.S.

zinny, i have a friend who did ywam and i remember her saying she loved it. i'll pray for you. if you think you are being led to go to their mexico location then do go, but if not i agree that another location might be better for safety reasons. i live in southern california and the news coming out of mexico is not good at all right now. it is quite dangerous, but of course if you feel led then that is the right place.

Thank you all!

I know that mexico is not the safest place right now, but really is anywhere safe?
I have faith that if it is where i am ment to go than i will be protected.
And i haven't heard of any of the ywam staff or students being harmed by others while there

Sometimes you have to get into the dangerous places to help make a change, nothing is safe, but because something isnt safe doesn't mean you cant do it, yah know? like driving a car :P

Hope you all are having a good day
