I'll start by saying that I'm not a religious person - I don't go to church or anything. But i do believe in God, and I do believe that he works with me in my life to keep me sane and sober.

I've been running into financial difficulties lately. We are a four-person family, getting by on one income. I've had to make several trips up north around my father's death, and that used up all my "cushion". I just found out that they will be cutting hours in my department, down to 32 hours from 40. I just didn't know how to make ends meet. But a lot of these circumstances are beyond my control, so I've been praying for help.

Then I had the idea to try, one last time to get my car refinanced. I had bought it while I was single, for way too much money, and the $650 a month payment has been a millstone around my neck. I called my credit union, and they'll be able to refinance me, adding three years to my payment schedule for only $165 a month.

Prayers do get answered. SO often I like to blame God when I don't get what I want, and think that I had all the answers when things go right. That's just not how it works though. Yes, I have to do the footwork to make things happen, but God directs the outcome. I am so grateful for all the blessings I have received...And I just wanted to share.

Thank you Kendyll! Gods love does work in mysterious ways And you, you know God doesnt fix things like a magic genie. It takes time for Gods love to spread around the world, to come into your car finance managers heart, for them to be open to helping a neighbor. We dont know how God has touched the people around us and led them to be caring and supportive when our need arises, but, I think we can say, if not for the love of God, things could be much harder. Thank you for sharing your experience, and your gratitude.

Oh, I so agree with these posts. God is so important to me in my life, too. I need to
pray for more patience, though, and that would make things so much easier.

Thats great Kendyll and its nice you are grateful. I too notice that on the 11th hr, by a scrape, an inch, a little good happens, most of the times I need it and I always look up and say thank you. Kind wishes to you for coping so well. Money is a pita.
