My Dad is having brain surgery tomorrow to remove a tumor complicated in that it has taken over the blood vessels. I don't even want to think about whether or not it is cancerous yet. In knowing the power of prayer, if you would be so kind, please include him in your prayers. Thank you so much and take good care meanwhile.

Thank you so much everyone!
His tumor was worse than the doc expected and the surgery took 6 hours instead of the 2-3 they had planned for. He had to stay in the surgical post anesthesia care unit (PACU) for 24 hours after surgery especially due to the risk of brain swelling which is still an issue but this afternoon they moved him to the neurology surgical floor. He now has a 6x6 plate in his head because the tumor had invaded the bone. He is having some issues that the doc said it would get worse before it gets better as his brain adjusts so just still hoping for the best right now. Will keep you posted and thank you again for your thoughts and prayers, we so appreciate it.

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers. It is so appreciated.
Today he was so much improved. He still is experiencing some significant deficits but the doc thinks some them will return with physical and occupational therapy and some will go away when some of the medications he is on are stopped (tapered, then stopped); PT & OT started today though. They are talking about sending him home tomorrow and I am floored, really scared as his primary care taker, but amazed in a good way though too that he can go home but he has to be supervised at all times and has some significant restrictions. So some things will be changing needing to be with him all the time or trying to find some help. Hopefully I can make some arrangements but I cannot believe it, in for brain surgery and out in 4 days, walking out. I am so very grateful and the work will begin on the road to recovery. Crying happy tears now, overwhelmed, have to go but wanted y'all to know truly how much I appreciate your thoughts and prayers. They really have been helping us. Thank you so much for being there for us.

Dad has taken a turn for the worst. He went to the ER last night. He has lost the function of the left side of his body, has had a stroke, and is not cognizant. They also discovered a mass in his lung. They believe it is a metastasis from his brain tumor. On way back to the hospital now. Please keep us in your prayers.
