I have heard about people who said they were here before, and they are just the re incarnations of people. But then I would become confused about the logic and so many questions would arise in mind. How it is possible? The world population has been increasing and how does this comply with the reincarnation concept? And if it is true, why does that happen? What is the scientific proof behind it? Is it related to our genetics? Do you have any idea? What happens to the dead people? Is it true that people can talk with spirits using mediums? Is there any truth in any of these claims? Has anyone here seen a spirit or talked with it? Please share if you don’t mind

It is not a science and there is no science to it at all.

Our modern "science" is adept at dealing with the physical world, but no so good at dealing with spiritual matters. Quantum physics is making some inroads, however.
In a court of law the jury is not presented with "proof" of a crime, but rather "evidence". If the evidence is compelling it is accepted as "fact" and a verdict is rendered accordingly. This isn't "science" but it is logical. There really is a great deal of research taking place, done by respected and reputable people. I encourage you to read a book by Dr Michael Newton, PhD entitled "Journey of Souls". You can get it at Barnes & Noble bookstore and is available in eBook format if you have a Nook. This single book will address all your questions and more. |

It depends on the perspective. Basically something moves from one life to another. Most groups that believe in reincarnation say that movement is due to the actions of the person during their life or maybe other lives.
Quote:
Again, most groups consider the actions of the individual or Karma. Bad actions are finally exhausted leading to reincarnation "up the ladder". You can only come to that conclusion through inferential logic. People knowing things they shouldn't is the most common data used to infer that that they may have learned it from a past life. Uh yeah, this is pretty tricky. Genetics are affected by the process of reincarnation. I'll to that in more detail from my perspective in the next one. Please keep in mind that there are many beliefs and this is only from my own personal beliefs. Upon death, the human mind dissolves inward. From Gross to Subtle to Very Subtle; conscious to deep subconscious. As the energy leaves the body, the mind leaves with it and enters an intermediate state. This state is called the Bardo in Tibetan. The intermediate state is similar to a dream. After a certain amount of time, the karma of the individual directs the mind to its next life wherever that is. Quote:
![]() I believe so. The things that happen in our house I can't explain. It doesn't mean it is a spirit, but some of the things sure are wild. |

There are numerous examples of people having memories of another life, and upon investigating those memories it is found that the memories correspond to actual events in another person's life. There are even examples of people having memories and the name of a specific person who lived hundreds or even thousands of miles away. The reality is that there is only one mind, one consciousness, and it is the source of all creation. Call it whatever you wish, but there can be experienced a "something" that runs in, through, and around everything including thoughts and emotions. If this source is constantly changing from one state to another, or one thing to another, it isn't a big leap to believe that the source of our personal experience and consciousness doesn't change into a number of different forms we may not be consciously aware of.

Something tells me we reincarnate infinitely and collectively. There are also many versions of the home we call Earth.
