a daughter of a dear friend of mine is in the hospital. she is 17 but she has severe brain damage due to seizures from her immunization shots when she was 6 months old. she can't talk or communicate in any way. She stopped eating right before Thanksgiving. her food is always liquid. it is so sad to see her like this. I think they are putting in a feeding tube. please keep her and the family in your prayers. they have 3 other children that are all fine.

thank you so much hon. they had to put in a G tube but had to remove and now going to put it back in. something went wrong with it.

I'll keep her in my prayers, bebop. I too have a friend whose daughter is mentally handicapped because of her shots as a new infant. She's doing well though, graduated from high school, is going to junior colllege and studying and working in child care at a job she loves.

Perna thanks hon. that is great your friends daughter is doing so well! unfortunately for kalin that will never happen. she is like an infant at 17. it is so sad.
