I have been thinking about this word a lot lately. I think its because the history channel, TLC and channels like that have been showing documentaries about Jim Jones, Waco and things like that. They just facinate me. I have been thinking that if we in our beliefs believed and were as passionate about what we believe what a world we would live in. Jim Jones and his followers were so passionate about their beliefs that they died for them as were the Koresh followers. Were they right? I don't believe so but that's just me. I am a Baptist but am what one would call a fair weather baptist. Yes I go to church almost every Sunday but do I want to...most Sundays no but I go because I get to see my friends when I go. I feel bad about it I think that I should want to go because I want to be with God. Some Sunday's I'm pumped and can't wait to get there but most Sunday's its not that way. I also go because its expected of me to go...my parents take me out to lunch on Sunday's and they pick me up at church if they met me at my apartment I probably wouldn't go to church. I am struggling with my passion lately I don't have any and want to find it again.
