Now I have a question if I may. I'm looking for good Christian groups to listen to, I'm just new to this genre. I never thought I'd enjoy it as much as I do! (I seriously have been listening to it almost non-stop ... it's actually making me feel better about myself and making me less unhappy... so I think that's a good thing! )

Right now I've got:
- Relient K
- The Rocket Summer
- Rebecca St. James

... based on that, can anyone recommend some other groups? I'm looking for a similar sound. Thanks and God bless.

Since you quoted a great song by Matt Redmon, do you have the CD called "Face Down" by him? He has a couple others too I believe.

I also love "Casting Crowns" whose song "Who Am I" won the Dove award and other awards a couple years ago.

I think for me gospel music is the best! always so uplifting. I think though now days there is a difference in "gospel" and christian music. I only listen most of the time to good ole southern gospel lol

I can't recommend their music highly enough......they were amazingly able to sing in *communist* North Korea recently, where Christianity and Christians are persecuted unmercifully. Here is a link to the article:
