What I feel from many of you here is passion. If you've been right, or, if you've been wrong, and this is for myself as well, we each have worked hard at coming to our truths, and, we deserve not to be punished for that, but, it is a cathartic process, whereby, we each, at different times, will feel we have made important breakthroughs, committed that the truth we have arrived at, is our final, and most important truth, only to discover that, it was a truth for us now, and a truth for us in this moment, and that, this truth has helped us to overcome this barrier we may be facing at this time. I believe, we don't intend to be wrong, or harmful people, but that, we are searching and growing, each in our own place, at our own time, and that, at different times, many of us are ahead, and some of us are behind, and we shouldn't feel shame for ourselves for being in the place we are in at any moment, but, to recognize that it is only the place we are in, for now, and if we keep trying, eventually, we will get where we are headed. Life isn't always about the destination, though we all want to get there as quickly as possible, sometimes, we need to pause, and appreciate the process. The strongest and the tallest trees among us, all needed time to grow, and even the shortest of the trees in the forest, all have a purpose.

I've worn the pie of shame on my face more times than I can count. For big reasons too. In all that shame, regret, I've learned that I'm not such a big man, that I don't always know what's right, and, beliefs can cause a lot of damage, no matter how right they seem at the time. I'm learning to watch my step, mind my words, watch my thoughts, and respect what I can't have compassion for. It's always a learning process and no matter how far I go, I realize, there is still something I didn't know. I can't point the way for anyone but me. It's only my small wish that we could, that I could, do the least damage to myself, to others, in the process. I don't deserve any titles or admiration. We are all us, and we are all together, we are all connected, and no one is better than anyone else. Least of all, me. If you only knew.

It's very true that we are all right where we need to be, right now. Some of us may not need to move at all. It's been said, to stop moving, is to stop growing, but sometimes, we all need to rest.

I hear you, Mr. Al,
All work and no play is very detrimental. We need balance and moderation.
We need to manage our lives with wisdom.
It's a tricky thing being human, but we will all figure it out with each others help.

I just saw this post and wanted to say thank you for it. Lately I've been judged and condemned by friends and even strangers for not healing or being where they think I should be on my journey just because it's where they are. My feeling is, if you don't learn at your own pace and feel the consequences of your own mistakes, how will you learn? You can't just go thru life doing things just because someone told you this happened to them so you should do what they did. You can't learn from someone else's mistakes, you can only learn from your own.

Each of us is on a path; a journey, if you will. Our paths will become entwined, intersect, run parallel, cross and separate with each other, but, we must each travel our own path. I will travel my on path and you will travel on your path. I cannot travel on your path; you cannottravel on my path. Each of us is a beginner and experienced, we are both right and wrong. We are all that we are; we are all that we are not.
