Hello. My boyfriend and I still need prayers still praying on landing a job somewhere with good, decent pay and location. We still have our plans of moving in together once the money is in the right spot. He is still searching daily with zero calls from employers, miserable in his living situation, and his area still isn't the place for jobs yet not sure why employers aren't calling him for interviews. He wants a full time but this job market makes you take part time then work up to full time which is stupid considering how people need to eat!

Me on the other hand went to a job fair last Tuesday a huge waste of time nothing but a meet and greet collected resumes. That job I really wanted that I had an interview for still haven't heard from them and their classes started last week they got more coming up in July. I am still at my wits on landing a full time job as I still "don't have enough experience/skills for these employers." I have zero interest in a 2nd job my focus is on a full time job my plan was to move this summer but again that's still on hold since I don't have the income to do it! I have been considering again on "switching careers," as it's too damn difficult to land a help desk job anywhere since I don't have everything that they want and only have very little since I am only given limited access at work.

I am not sure what to take, but I do know I don't want a caretaker job (rather take care of an animal than a human any day). I am not sure what other careers I can explore I want company training not something that's gonna take more schooling.

So, these are our prayers to land employment, full time very soon. We are both wanting first shift morning positions that's it! The employers need to start calling my boyfriend now so he can go back and do more interviewing. These job fairs need to offer something better for us that is worthwhile to take.

Yep what help? Sure I get calls usual stuff pass my resume along get an interview then I still get no job. Recruiters keep sending me jobs that I don't have the skills for nor am I using them in my job.

Recently my resume got passed along to their client so they will contact me for an interview. We have been through everywhere.

Boyfriend still can't seem to find employment in his city and another city remember he has no car. He wants a good job where he can take of himself same with me I'm not settling for **** pay. Phoenix is the worst place to find jobs and no we have zero money on moving out of state!

Tired of getting nothing from employers both of us are. So this is why we need serious prayers we spent too much time at workshops in the past no more! Our lives have been on hold for far too long.

Maybe part of the problem is that you're "not settling for **** pay." No pay is LESS than **** pay.

If we could do math in America we'd go much further. **** pay isn't gonna get me the average one or two bedroom apt at 600 to 750 a month. Min wage here is 8.05 how is that gonna pay for myself as an adult? I've been at my job a little over a year I can ask for what pay I want within reason. My goals come first I made my goals out got it laid out for myself I'm sure boyfriend has it 4 him too.

I know what I want period sticking to what I want. I told my recruiters exactly what I want and searching for. If I get pay at 15/hr not gonna turn it down. Too many people out there settling for nothing. I did my 2nd job in January for a 10 day assignment did my time it's time for full time. I don't plan on being at my job forever it's very hard to get full time don't have time to waste.

We are both still applying to jobs. A Lil over a year yea there's no excuse why I can't move on to another job based on what I'm seeking.

Anyway these are our prayers for us I'm gonna stick to it too.

Well, there's certainly nothing wrong with looking. It's just that $0 will get you less than $8.05. "Settling" for 8 an hour is not settling for nothing. Not working at all is settling for nothing.

Speaking of prayers...

You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you just might find...
you get what you need.

I pray that you and yours find a way to get together and live happily ever after.

I suppose for some people not 4 me. I have no intentions of staying in my living situation with a min wage job otherwise I will never move. My goal was suppose to move this summer again **** is still on hold!

Well prayers need to come now tired of wasting air to employers who don't know how to interview.

I will pray for you, and like someone said we usually do just get what we need, but even prayers can cover that and maybe a little more too!!!
