It's a sweet verse, and filled with truth, but I thought of someone actually knitting something at first. I don't think that's what was the meaning of it. :/

LOL Well, you might think of your tissues and bones being "knit" together!
 I think that's what doctors say when a bone fracture heals... it "knit" together well.
