Search suspended for Navy sailor missing near Whidbey Island
The other day I noticed my son was crying. He's not one to cry, so I asked what was wrong. The sailor in this story was a very close friend to my son, serving together in the Navy and stayed in touch even after my son came home. On the grand scale of things, it's not really that bad. The young man was called home, on a good (having fun) day, he gave it his all and fought to the end. It's a blessing his girlfriend was rescued. ![]() If this sailor is truly "buried at sea," he should be fine. But finding his body for a proper buriel would truly help his family and friends bring a little closure to this tragedy. ![]() I would appreciate prayers on behalf of KJ's family and friends that his body will be found. Thank you. ![]() |
