Hi everyone..I wanted to share my favorite bible verse. It really helps me when I get really down, which is often. I love to read it, and i wanted to share it, i thought maybe it would make some other people that want to read it feel better...

Lamenations 3:25-33: The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. It is good for a man to bear the yoke wile he is young. Let him sit alone in silence, for the Lord has laid it on him. Let him bury his face in the dust-- there may yet be hope. Let him offer his cheek to one who would strike him, and let him be filled with disgrace. For men are not cast off forever. Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to the children of men.

Please feel free to post your comments on this verse. I am glad to welcome any of them. I know we are all going through things and let me know how you feel about it. thanks, ally.

I'm thinking some may go right over this sentence and hone in on the previous two sentences. It's called "selective reading". Bible Verse The reason I put this sentence in quote code is to bring it out. I hope you don't mind. Bible Verse

I think God allows us to go thru trials and tribulations so we can grow in Him. To make us stronger in our faith. I have some scriptures our pastor went thru Sunday that I need to post.
thanks for posting that!

The part that jumps out at me is "For men are not cast off forever." Yes, we grow through our burdens and trials, and they won't last forever, and neither will we be cast off forever if we make mistakes. That is how we learn.

Trials and tribulations.. .yes.. that's how God refines us as gold... works us into His shape. They are tough though.

Thanks for the verse.
