I have two things that make me worry.
First, after some years of not driving, tomorrow I'm going make to driving school to practice. I'm really afraid that the instructor won't be patient, or however that I don't like the lesson and get discouraged about my abilities, and renounce again...
Second, since several days I have twinges in my chest...especially in certain moments and positions, but not only. I don't want to go to the doctor yet, because it scares me...it's not too painful...but it makes me worry a bit.
Thanks

Hi Beaflower. For me, to learn to drive took a lot of practice, of course. One crucial thing I learned is to never rush anything you are doing. For example, when I was learning to parallel park, other drivers were impatient, and would honk at me. I would just wave them on. Do not let other impatient drivers rush you. If they are in a hurry, they can just go around.
As far as having chest twinges, it may just be anxiety. I, myself, would tell the instructor about my anxiety. And don't forget to take deep breaths whenever you feel tight or anxious. I do know how you feel.

Thanks for prayers and for asking updates
Yesterday I drove with the instructor and it went well. I didn't drive very well actually, I have to practice. But the instructor was kind, that is important for me. Hope to be a bit less scared next time. Please go on praying.
Seeker, your suggestion is very wise. The instructor told me not to have hurry too.
The twinges are diminishing a bit these days, maybe. Hope it's a good sign. But I don't know if it's because of anxiety, because I have them especially when I am in certain positions or laugh or breath deeply. But now less.
Thanks to you all Hugs.

Thanks The twinges seem to have gone or almost, so thanks for the prayers. But now I'm having tachycardia quite often, like in past; for anxiety, in my t's opinion.
And there is always the problem with driving.

Thanks for caring and for praying Nothing changed...still some tachycardia for anxiety, but I don't think it's dangerous...hopefully. And no twinges anymore
Now I'm worried also for other things...my dissertation that is going slowly, interviews for apprenticeship...all stressful things. Please keep me in your prayers in general.
Love you all

Thanks barbella for thinking of me! It means a lot
These days I had some twinges again Though not as bad as before. And I have tachycardia quite often.
I'll talk to my t...she thinks tachycardia is for anxiety but didn't tell me if I have to do something...

You've been on my mind BeaFlower. Sorry to hear you had twinges again and are having tachycardia quite often. Know that God is stronger than any emotion or physical symptom. He is guiding you step by step through all of this.

Keep leaning on Him. I am praying for you.

Sending hugs

BeaFlower, I hope you feel better soon. We moved to a new state last year and I had tachycardia also from the stress. I also had anxiety about driving in a much bigger town than I came from. And a new job to learn.

Fast forward to now and things are much better. Just took time and some support to get through it all. Glad you are reaching out and seeking the help you need until you get on better footing.

I drove other times...it's not that it really goes badly but I'm always anxious and I always have the impression not to be able and not to control the car. How know how much time I'll take to learn...
