i am so proud of my 10 yr old nephew. he was saved a while back at a church he was attending with a friend but was never baptized. he has been going to church with my mother for a while. the same church my husband and i just joined and rededicated our lives at. today he spoke with our pastor and the youth leader and decided he wanted to join the church and he will be baptized this coming Sunday. this boy has had such a hard life not only with a disfunctional family but has been through several major surgeries for spina bifida and also has ADHD, he also went thru a bout of spinal menegitis. i am so happy that God has touched his heart. this is truly a blessing for him and our family. Now he also has a family in the church to lean on. and i pray that this little 10 yr old boy can be an example for his parents and help lead them to Christ as well. God is great! and God is good! i sing praises to the Lord for all the great things He is doing within my family.

blessings to all

10 yr. old with Jesus on his heart.....

When I accepted Christ's work on the cross as payment for my sin I was 14, and I was quite concerned for my mom. (I recalled my dad having told about his meeting the Lord and being baptised in a river when he was young.) Back then she totally rebuffed any of my tries, once even declaring that if she believed that way, that meant her own mother isn't in heaven. (As if her own dying in sin would have changed that?) I prayed for my mom for years, until I was assured that God had heard and would answer. My mom was in her late 70s before she accepted Christ... and to my joy, she did so through a television program, either Jack Van Impe or Dr D James Kennedy I can't recall right now, that I was personally acquainted with and supported! God didn't have to do all that "for" me!

Recluse,
what a wonderful testimony; praise God for this little boy and also for you and your husband's rededication. God is good, all the time, God is good!
