Golden Eve got me wondering about vibrations. One explanation:

I think I need to improve my vibrations. I suspect they are too negative sometimes.

This article talks about how that there are many types of inner voices (Using Your Intuition for Self-Care). It says:
Intuition is sometimes thought of as the sixth sense. Basically, it’s an inner knowing that does not involve the mind, or intellectual or logical processes. It’s when we feel something instinctually without needing to be analytical.

I have experienced different kinds of knowing without being analytical. One example, when I score writing (a temp job I sometimes do), I read the whole thing and say to myself, "This reminds me of how a ____ grader writes." Then quickly score based on a spitsecond impression. Usually, especially when I first started this job--I have VERY good stats for speed and accuracy. Why? Prior to doing this jobs, I was a teacher who substituted K-12 (mostly K-5), tutored small K-5 groups as a Title One teacher, was a classroom teacher and helped my children with there elementary school homework. I had seen hundreds of student writing entries and papers--I never thought of a particular one but had classified student "levels" (I knew how a typical K-5 student writes) unconsciously. My unconscious decisions were almost always better than papers where I though about the elements of the writing analytically (as in, the grammar is at this level but the development of the ideas is at this level, etc.) It was magic when I got in the zone!

Another way I think we get in touch with our subconscious inner voice is through our dreams. I dream a lot when I go through challenging situations. I also think that my mother contacted me through a dream about 5 years after she died. I felt guilty about being such a challenging daughter and that I didn't sufficiently thank her for what she did for me. I felt like she hugged me in that dream and made it clear she understood and forgave me. After that dream, I felt a lot more at ease about our relationship.

What kinds of inner knowing have you experienced?

I remember studying philosophy in college but can't remember if I read -- perhaps I will check it out. One things the Greek philosophers taught us is that we should be able to argue opposing views/beliefs rationally and keep an open mind by listening to the strength or the argument/rational. My POV is that we make better decisions when we are open to opposing POV. But that title includes the words, inner knowing--I do think we have to examine our inner voice and see what it is telling us. Sometimes that voice is wise--othertimes it can lead us astray. We have to combine our intuition with common sense. I am better at intuition than common sense and good decisions require both.
Thanks for this!

I wake up with new clarity on situations that I figure out in my dreams!

It’s funny how, when things happen, we don’t fully process it until we ruminate on it and figure things out.

I greatly trust my instincts and I don’t think they’ve ever been wrong. Unfortunately, it’s usually about something negative that someone is doing to me. But, at least, my clarity helps me to protect myself.

I wish I had as strong intuitive abilities for positive things, like guessing lottery numbers.

A person I love has a strong belief in astrology. According his/her understanding, our Sun sign is only about what we have been taught/want to be but our rising and moon signs tell more about our true nature. Mine are both water signs. Lately, I have been listening to more free astrology on Youtube. Today I was listening to

I don't follow astrology, but I believe everything affects everything. So probably the planets have an effect on us in some way or another now & then. At least I wouldn't rule it out.

@TunedOut

I don’t know much about astrology but years ago a friend told me my rising sign is an earth sign and my moon sign is an air sign. I have no idea how I remember that. I just remember her saying that my true personality is very different than what people see on the outside because of that moon sign.

It makes for fun conversation right

My moon sign is Cancer. Thought her advice for people who are Cancer Moon was quite good. Is her advice for your moon sign a good fit?

Perhaps I need to include the Youtube video:

This one is interesting too (
). Says (I am saying it in my own words) because we are in Mercury retrograde, if you are living by love and can go with the flow, you will feel at ease with the retrograde but people who are bad people are being exposed. We have been getting clarity about hidden enemies and a better understanding of situations (Interesting what is happening in politics ). I am feeling more clarity about my life. Anyone else?

Lately, I find astrology more enlightening than therapy.
Would never pay to have a reading but is astrology better than therapy?

Well, I’ll say that lately not much else has worked for me so maybe I’ll start checking my daily horoscope. I had a friend in college who mapped out my whole horoscope and it was fun to look through her books and listen to all her explanations of everything.

@TunedOut

So I just read my horoscope for the day and here’s part of it:

I have decided it is not so much the horoscopes that help; rather, that my dear family member's research into what my rising and moon signs were helped me understand my true nature a little better. Additionally, having thought about it, horoscopes that predict can cause problems if we take them to seriously, especially if we interpret anything negative happening in the future. Why do I believe this? Sometimes what we believe becomes our reality. So, I think I am going to view less tarot readings. I want to make my own reality. I want to focus on working toward my goals. I want to trust and accept what is and not worry as much about the future. I have GAD so I don't want to make it worse. I am going to pray more for the things my soul desires. I want my family to be OK. I want us to be more unified some day. There is a family member who is lost. I want to reach her/him. I also need to focus on my career. It is slowly building. My work life is going well because my husband more clearly saw than I did where my talents lie and I am trusting his guidance more. Without all the support I have gotten my whole life from my husband and others, I would be as lost as the family member whom I am praying for. The problem with me trying to help is that the two of us on our own is like the blind leading the blind. Many, many times, I do not see things realistically. I can really live life at times in a dream like state. I am trying to ground myself better and get more focused. I have so much more work to do while I am on this Earth.
